I think this is my final lineup against Rich tonight...hemmed and hawed about Shaw vs Read and finally decided to go with the hot hand. Andrew Shaw has 8 points in 9 games against Dallas and will skate the 2nd line with Kane and Saad. Read had a reasonably nice game last night but he's a 3rd liner who only has 4 points in 13 games against New Jersey for his career.

The opening night lineup for the Lost Cause:

F/OT - Matt Moulson
F - David Backes
F - Gustav Nyquist
F - Andrew Shaw
F - Ryan O'Reilly
F - David Desharnais

D - Shea Weber
D - Mark Streit
D - Dmitri Kulikov
D - Andy Greene

G - Minnesota (vs Colorado)

abdelkader will score 20g

roy will hit 30g

saad will get 70p

regin will get points in every game I am forced to play him

hiller will be in running for Vezinza

my team will go on another stupid 20-3 run winniNg games by .5 point. I've never wanted to lose more.

You have my 1st. I'll probably take care of the tanking for you.

I love the level at which FCHL plays sometimes.

I have no idea if you are right or wrong, I just love the degree to which you take the research to decide between Shaw and Read.

I actually just kind of stumbled onto the fact that Yahoo is offering that information on their player pages now. ;)

Don't kill the romance Adam. Let us not let facts get in the way of a good story.

What I meant to say is that I maintain a spreadsheet that requires an average of 26 hours per week worth of work keeping it up just to help me set my lineups.

I like to call it the FantaCorsi.

This will be the first season where I begin the season with my 1st rounder. This past draft was the first time I ever actually had a 1st round selection (Dubeys pick)

Josh - at the yahoo page, your OT player goes in your Util spot, and then you only dress 5 forwards after that. One of your forward spots has to be left empty

Thanks, switched it yesterday, but forgot that I had previously went and set my lineup for today so it reverted back to how I had it.

It is fixed now. Upshall is on my bench like he was supposed to be.

I've put up a 7-score already tonight with 2 of my 3 big FA acquisitions on the bench.

Good to be back and dominating Dubey for once.

Josh here is a heads up, when you make a transaction on Yahoo! it ****s up all of the lineups you have set. It's nailed everyone at least once.

Yeah, that's a garbage "feature".

Also, the in-season responsibility is on you guys to make yahoo trades, as well as post in the transaction forum. The only ones you can't make in yahoo are ones where players are only going one way - in that case, either Duane or I will have to move players.

(Or you can pick up a random FA to trade the other way)

Otherwise yahoo is pretty smooth.

This decision literally cost me the game. OT loss to Rich 4.0 to 4.0...Read had an assist, Shaw, nothing.

I are horrible GM.

You're welcome Ollie. Would have destroyed you if I played Raymond. Read he was coming back from an injury so let him get extra rest. Whew for both of us.

Thanks!  I should probably just retire from fantasy hockey with a 1-0 record.  It's only downhill from here.
