Yahoo projects 3.35 goals for the Lost Cause and 3.35 goals for Broadway. I really badly need John's Blueshirts to kick some Blue Jacket ass tonight.

Very tough decision in the Lost Cause net...currently starting Pittsburgh against Florida but I have Minny vs Dallas available...they just had a wide open game against Detroit last night so they could be due for a poor offensive game. I'm starting to think Minnesota is the smarter play here. Will have to give it more thought.

Pittsburgh played last night, Minnesota didn't...Dallas played last night...Florida did too and lost to a poor team.

I have no idea what to do.

It's going to be really tough keeping my emotions in order. I am going to the game tonight. I will make sure cell battery is fully charged to get FCHL/AHL updates

John, the obvious answer is to pull your FCHL goalies so you can cheer for every Rangers goal without worry.

There was no Seguin last night and they put a 6 on the board.

Fair enough. . . My game today with the Reserves has the following implication -- Win and you're in. Based on my math. . . . 77 points puts us out of reach of Adam and Biatch.

A tie. . . and the world explodes.

I seriously looked at adding a F to todays matchup but decided I want to make that choice of who to call up on a playoff gameday

Adam, I went out to a restaurant/bar with Chris and Phil (Kessel, Chris's namedropping rubbed off on me) after the game last night, and Phil is feeling pretty bad about letting the Lost Cause down.

I'm glad to hear Phil and his $8 million feel bad about letting my $30 fantasy team down

John, that MDZ from Voracek strike hurt a lot.

I lied. We didn't talk about fantasy. He mostly tried convincing me online poker was rigged. Sigh.

It was always an A, but he set up your guy for the G so it's a +1.5 play for you.

Everyone has clinched at this point except Mike and Dan (Dave and Zach both have the first tiebreak over me). Everyone other than Dubey and I has been officially eliminated.

Tulane Flyers (75pts) games remaining - Crop Dusters

asdfjkl; (72pts) games remaining - Golden Seals, Broadway

Lost Cause (72pts) games remaining - Newmarket Hurricanes, Toronto Rocket

Golden Seals (69pts) games remaining - asdfjkl;, Crop Dusters

I have to win both my remaining games to have any chance, and I need help from one of the teams ahead of me. If Mike loses to Josh tomorrow night (somehow) then I can catch and pass him with two wins. I need one more win than the asdfjkl; to get in over Dan. Dubey needs to win both his remaining games and have the asdfjkl; and the Lost Cause both lose both games.

Way to go Lost Cause. I believe after last night, one win in the final two games will clinch the Presidents Trophy for the Blindsides.

Lots of hockey left. Jay's team has been crushing dreams all year, he's not an easy out by any means. And I definitely don't like the way Zach's team decided to suddenly round into form.

Ouch... lost because of my Chi goalies giving up 6. Not that Ott is in a much better situation; because of injuries they have two neophytes.

Are you counting my team out to not beat Adam tomorrow?  Let me see what I can do with my lineup.

I have this feeling that David Moss is going to have a huge night.  I'm not really expecting anything from Patrick Sharp.  Maybe I should make that swap.

Well, I said I had to win 6 of 7 to stay in the race, I did exactly that. Apparantly I needed 7 of 7.

About a month ago I predicted I would need 71 points to make the playoffs, based on where the 8th place line was at the time, plus looking at past years. I think I needed to go 11-6 at the time to achieve that. I am on pace now to get to that 71 points (or more), but it looks like it won't be enough.

My Tragic number is now 1. Any combination of 1 point lost by me or 1 point gained by either asdfkl or Lost cause in the last 2 games and I'm all done. I do get to play asdfjkl next, so I potentially have at least part of my destiny in my own hands, but it looks bleak (at best).

Actually, I haven't looked at tie breakers. If I were to guess, I'd say I would lose a tie breaker to Adam and win a tie breaker with Dan, so I guess Dan could concievably tie Broadway in the final game and I could still get in if Adam loses out.

So, as I see it. . .  Win and I am in, right?   Lose, and I will need to sweat the last game pretty hard.   Tie . . . . . The world explodes.     I like my chances against the crop dusters when I looked at the lineups. . . . but that is why they play the games.   Good luck gentlemen. . . . . I REALLY hope I am not staring at the last game of the season, from the sidelines without being able to do anything to stop getting bumped out of the playoffs.   If so. . . . (and regardless actually) I would move that there should never be a schedule again where the first or last games of the season have any team with a bye.   Even if that is the ONE game where there is a "Double" night for a special event.   (In fact, what MIGHT be fun is that on the first and last nights of the season, every team plays EVERY OTHER team in their division - like a potential 8 point craziness night to start and end things . . . . years like this year, it would make playoff races and seeding come down to that ONE GAME. . .. thoughts from the sidelines.)

I just hope if I miss, I miss by more than 2. I lost a game earlier in the month against Steve because I didn't set my lineup in advance, and I woke up too late on a sunday to change my lineup before the 10:30 AM game started, so I didn't get to put in washington goalies, and Arizone let in 6 that night, which was the difference in the game.

This just sounds painful. Prescribed pain and suffering. It would turn the last game of the season into Monday Night Rehabilitation.

yeah that sounds terrible. I don't like the idea of one bad night potentially handing you as many as 14 losses. Would kind of render the rest of the season pointless.
