I woke up this morning and was legitimately scared that it was a dream. It's that hard to process. I was at both the 03 NLCS and the 08 NLDS and when Davis tied the game with a 2 run HR in the 8th, I think I had a panic attack that I was about to witness another playoff meltdown.
The great thing about this team is that every time you started to have doubts or wonder if we really were cursed, they somehow found a way to grind it out.
I'm legitimately exhausted from watching the Cubs championship run. And I couldn't be happier.
