Some clinching/playoff scenarios:

  • Rockets can clinch 1st overall with a win AND either a loss or a tie in either NMH game.
  • Rockets could also clinch 1st overall with a loss AND 2 losses or a loss and a tie from NMH.
  • The Ales have locked up the 15th seed, so will have the highest odds of having the number 1 pick.
  • 10 through 14 still up for grabs - separated by just 2 points
  • 2nd and 3rd place will be filled by either the Dusters or the asdfjkl;
  • Rockets/Hurricanes will finish 1/4 or 4/1.

With ROFB missing the playoffs, the Rockets now have sole lead among the expansion clubs in terms of playoff appearances:

  • Toronto Rockets - 4 appearances (11/12, 14/15, 15/16, 16/17)
  • KC Reserves - 3 appearances (14/15, 15/16, 16/17)
  • Fearsome Beavers - 3 appearances (10/11, 12/13, 13/14)

The Ottawa Biatches lead the way overall with 9 playoff appearances. Hurricanes, BlackDevilHawks and Blindsides are tied for second with 8. Though it should be noted that these totals include the "trial" 05/06 season.

Without including the 05/06 season, asdfjkl;, NMH, Blindsides would be tied in the lead with 8 appearances.

Sorry guys, didn't realise Oduya was back from injury today and missed him in my lineup. Hopefully won't change anything

Isn't this why I always say if you have an open spot, put the player in even if he's medically dead, just in case a miracle happens? lol

Now let's hope my Canes/Flames can wipe out my no-goalie deficit just as efficiently. :D

I think I had my best auction ever this year. Skjei and Vrbata at a .25 where the best buys

Biatch with a bit of a missed lineup today. Didn't get Bergeron, Benn, or Monahan in on time.

If my score holds, I'll clinch first overall if the Dusters can tie the Hurricanes. Just Phaneuf left, though.

  • The Hurricanes pull off the double win - crack 100 points (101)
  • Rockets also win, so their magic number is down to just 1 point to clinch first overall
  • asdfjkl; take a lead in the race for the 2nd seed, magic number is 2 points
  • Whalers are locked into the #5 seed, will play either the Hurricanes or the Rockets - not a desirable spot for anybody involved
  • Whalers have won 7 in a row
  • asdfjkl; have won 4 in a row, are unbeaten in 5 (4-0-1)
  • Rockets have won 4 in a row, are unbeaten in 7 (6-0-1)

yup. i guess if I actually manage to win this thing, no one will be able to say I took the easy route.

FML!!!!!!!

been hoping so much I would lose the last couple of weeks, but my team has been on fire. guarantee it ends on March 3rd.
