Game 3 is the only one I see myself as a favorite in. I see me as a 2.3 goal fave.
Games 4 and 5 I'm just a small dog (1/4 goal or so), games 1, 2, 6, 7, I'm about a 3/4 goal dog.
You're clearly the favorite overall, but those margins aren't so huge that they can't be overcome. I'll need some players to get hot, for sure.
I could really use Kris Letang, or at the very least, Mark Streit back by game 3. Having Letang back may actually push me to being a favorite in games 3 and 4.
My other key injury is Okposo, but he'd be a coinflip to figure in to any of the games (if I stay healthy otherwise). My forwards are pretty top end. As it stands now, Rask and Eberle don't even make it into a single game.
I was looking at who I won both my titles against as well, and both of my titles were against Jay in the finals. Jay has never won a title against me in the finals.
Therefore, by this logic. I hope the finals are me and Jay, as I am undefeated against him in FCHL Finals.

Mah gawd, I love my top heavy forward strategy. Those top guys are beautiful. If I was the Iowa Crop Dusters, I would make plans to eat or plant corn or whatever you guys do for fun in the spring/summer, because you won't be in the FCHL finals.

Mr Potato from Idaho, I noticed you started Columbus goalies against Florida, are you sure that's the right decision? I think you should be starting Tampa goalies at home vs Toronto. I am starting Toronto goalies. Let's have some fun.

Lol I guess mister potato from glad Idaho is too scared to start Tampa goalies. If my team is so weak, there shouldn't be an issue to starting Tampa goalies lol. But I guess mister potato is all talk

Another reason to strike this silly season. A chance to eliminate Nell from the record books.
I went through last night and grayed out everything from 05/06. Somehow missed that, so already went back and changed it.
Also, I cleaned up the record books and made them a tiny bit easier to read, IMO.
My next step is to consolidate playoff results somewhere. I started this many years ago, but got stuck. Records are spotty from the Nell era, but it would be nice to have them posted somewhere. A simple screen for every season we've played with standings, playoff results, etc would be nice. It kind of exists in the "Standings" forum already, just need to go back and add playoff scores.
There's gotta be a way to seed you guys in with the MDG tourney.
You kind of end up with two brackets then, and can't play a true tournament format. Something like ABCD are eliminated from regular playoffs, EFGH are the teams who made it through the first round of the MDG... maybe you do a secondary consolation tourney for ABCD on their own, or maybe they mix in with EFGH somehow? Plus we have IJK eliminated from the MDG already lol.

Jay gets dealt an early blow, as Artem Anisimov will be out for the 2nd round and probably the 3rd round.
I know Anisimov is probably not even in his top 6, but eating into the depth is still good.
As long as it doesn't rub off on Panarin, I guess. Though Kane is the real driver of that line, not Anisimov.
As for my injuries, no update on Letang, but Streit is a game time decision today, so I'd expect him in my lineup for games 3, 4, and 5 if Letang isn't back by then.
You really should not be bothering to tell a forum made up of only fantasy hockey fans that the pts leader of the NHL is the guy who drives his own line.
I wouldn't tell you you need to pedal to ride a bike, don't tell us Kane is better than Anisimov. Stop stating the obvious. :)

Sick that Kopitar is #7. My initial thought was you are overreacting to his down season so far, but then I looked at the guys ahead of him and I changed

My number 7 has a better pool PPG than Jay's number 7. :D

He's definitely had a down year, but he's been playing better as of late.
If Tyler Johnson is good to go, then he might slot in over Kopitar. Other options instead of Kopitar are Henrik Sedin, Jordan Staal, Jagr, O Palat, or Jannik Hansen. I'll probably stick with Kopi.
