I hope pick up my franchise's first finals win at some point in this series. We're 0-4 currently.

Due to recent hot streaks, my team now boasts 5 forwards who have scored at a rate of 0.600 or more this season.

Crosby (0.899)
Oshie (0.664)
Barkov (0.610)
Skinner (0.600)
Panarin (0.600)

Crosby, Oshie, and Panarin have been 600+ most of the season, but Skinner and Barkov only recently eclipsed the plateau.

I'd expect Barkov to be over 0.600 for the foreseeable future. He was 0.659 last season and then just had a horrendous start this year.

Skinner I see more as a 0.525 guy or so, but since he's a goal scorer, a hot streak can bump him up. His career numbers have him at 0.506.

The nights in the playoffs that would be game nights but aren't always feel a little weird.

Getting a little nervous watching Ovechkin get hot. Biatch putting up some points tonight.

(Looks like I put up like a 7-score here myself, so hoping I didn't blow it all a game early... hope it's a precursor of what's to come in the finals!)

It's game day!

1. Aleksander Barkov
2. Jeff Skinner
3. Nikolaj Ehlers
4. Mathieu Perreault
5. Charlie Coyle
6. Jordan Eberle
7. P.K. Subban
8. Jared Spurgeon
9. Nathan Beaulieu
10. Marc-Edouard Vlasic

Looks like I'll be missing Couture for games 1 and 2, at least. :'(

But on the bright side, the Pens coach said Letang was expected back before the end of the season, so if this thing makes it to 6 or 7, he could be a nice boost.

This is a strange series... I have ****ty lineups for games 1, 2, and 3, then 4-7 are damn near my top 10 skaters each time. Not sure if Biatch has the same outlook, but probably. Start off short, and if we make it a long series, it's best on best.

Biatch's depth looks good in games 1 and 3 here. We should be a coinflip in both.

Game 2, Biatch has no goalies and just 5 forwards. So he should win handily.

4-7, we're both stacked.

I have no idea what my outlook is. I just roll whoever has the best names when game day gets here.

Good luck sir. I'm rooting for me.

Looks like I'm losing Couture for at least games 1, 2, and 4. Not super concerned about games 4 and beyond. I always have a relative comparable to replace him with. But game 1, I drop down to Jordan Eberle, and game 2, I drop to Boone Jenner. Two pretty big hits. Opportunity for the Biatch, perhaps.

Man that's rough. I haven't heard a thing about Malkin since he went down. Stamkos is day to day now though so he could be back for the series.

Off to a terrific start.

Lose Couture for gone 3+ games.

Barkov is a late scratch, injured.

Skinner goes straight to the room after getting injured on the ice.

Ooh, Skinner back for the second, though only 2 shifts in the first 7 minutes. Better than nothing.

I picked up both assists (Coyle, Spurgeon) on a Minnesota goal a second later.

One goal against the Sharks since the last update as well.

So, currently 3.0 to 1.5. And I think I have the OT? But Benn and Bergeron as still active and either can top Skinner.

Keep an eye on that 2nd Coyle assist in case it's the difference here. I'm not 100% sure he touched it.
