Rockets players were named the 1st (Panarin) and 2nd (Johansson) stars of the last week in the NHL. Heck of a good time for that to happen, with 4 Finals games in the last week. Lucky me.
I appreciate your sportsmanship, but I cannot accept any congratulations until this thing is official. Lots of talent left on your side, plus my goalies.

With a playoff run that was beyond unbelievable. He was an original draft pick of the Ottawa Limidonks in 2010, taken 4th overall. He appeared in 16 of the Rocket's 18 playoff games. In those 16 games he scored an unbelievable 14 goals and added 6 assists for 17 pool points. He scored 11 goals and 3 assists in the last 9 FCHL games he appeared in.
Damn those are some impressive scores you put up too. Not like you just squeaked out a couple of wins.
Lots of leftovers from the runner up team two seasons ago. Got swept in the finals by a combined score of 1.0. Three OT losses. Skinner was there. He only made it into one game in those finals. But he watched from the press box. And he knew what had to be done. Could not leave it to chance. Score early, score often.
Congrats again Zach. A lot of times in the playoffs, a team can sneak in and just run a hot streak and take the title (not that there's anything wrong with that), but your team dominated the regular season and the playoffs. That's pretty impressive. You are the true champ this year and deserve the title. You built the team from scraps and turned them into gold. I'm sad that I lost, and I honestly can't say I'm happy you won (because I wanted it to be me, lol), but I respect the hell out of you and your work as a GM for the Toronto Rocket. You deserve it.

Thanks man. It was a long road. Needed a lot of luck and run good along the way. Plus I sold basically everything this year.
Congrats on your run, even if you fell short. Still a hell of a season.
