i would have let my CL opponent known too, but he hadnt posted a lineup. and since its Dale, no chance he isnt aware/wont put in lineup
does he usually wait til last minute, some kind of strategy?

It's a weird strategy. I guess you can't line match or something? Even though you could. You have a general idea who he's going to play. I don't think I've ever been able to justify changing my players based on who is in my opponent's lineup, though.
A better strategy is to just set a lineup literally any time earlier and then make changes late if you don't forget/get busy/etc.
