Good work not making any trades after I went to bed last night.

Rosters should all be up to date - at least on the spreadsheet.

If you need help moving players in Yahoo, please let me know ASAP.

Was a bit of a whirlwind for me yesterday, so I dont really know if my roster is right, if the players on yahoo are the ones coming or going.
Fun though!

You're the favorite. Your projected lineups have me beat in like 20 of 21 playoff games. :'(

Being the proverbial favourite/higher scoring team hasnt worked for me in AHL all year, so no reason FCHL should be any different. "Luck" will play a big part.
Luck could mean anything from better schedules/matchups.... to injuries and just plain one night flukes.

BUT, I figured since I'm home most nights between now and end of March til my shoulder heals, lets try to go as far as possible in the playoffs in both leagues. Anything less than the finals, and I will be really disappointed. More for my desire to keep the game nights going for as long as possible, than for any other reason.

I was tempted

I was communicating with someone at 11:45 and I have a feeling we would have made a deal.

He fell asleep and didn't message me till 12:30

pfffffffffft frontrunner. In both FCHL/AHL, I'm a fringe playoff team. Hovering around the final playoff spot in both leagues. My hope is to squeak into the playoffs, and then luck-box my way into two titles.

Will be quiet an accomplishment to hold off Serge the Master and Non-Winning Combo for that final playoff spot. Best of luck mate!

I recently learned that time is a flat circle. Still not sure what it means, but seems relevant.

I was pretty buzzed. Passed the PMP exam yesterday, so I get to have some true free time again for a bit.

My sis did her exam yesterday too. Had to study like a maniac for a month straight. No wonder you’ve been quiet lately. Congrats.

Thanks all. I did the education piece back in October and just kept kicking the can, made it harder on myself.

Also, well done Steve.

Gameday 62 - February 6, 2018

Newmarket Hurricanes 2.0 vs. Whalers 7.0
Lost Cause 5.0 vs. Tulane Flyers 3.5
The Ales 0.0 vs. Blindsides 1.0
KC Reserves 3.0 vs. Injured Reserve (-0.5)
Broadway 3.0 vs. Toronto Rocket 4.0
Lethbridge Golden Seals 3.5 vs. Iowa Crop Dusters 1.5
BlackDevilHawks 2.5 vs. Royal Oak Fearsome Beavers 2.0

Congrats to Rich for securing a top two pick. To be fair this is one year when I'm fine with 3rd if I lose the lottery.

Though that's incorrect, Blindsides and Ales are the only two teams eliminated from playoff contention at this point.

To clinch last?

Well there's 14 games remaining and he's "ahead" by 7 points.

I think it would be 21 points (ie him missing out on 21 points or you gaining 21 points).
