Broadway vs. Whalers asdfjkl; vs. KC Reserves Lethbridge Golden Seals vs. The Ales BlackDevilHawks vs. Lost Cause Royal Oak Fearsome Beavers vs. Newmarket Hurricanes Iowa Crop Dusters vs. Tulane Flyers Toronto Rocket vs. Injured Reserve Blindsides vs. Injured Reserve
Race for the final playoff spot is down to 3 teams.
IR has the inside track with a game in hand. Faces one of the coldest teams and one of the hottest teams in the league tonight, as they play out their double header against the Blindsides and Rockets. However, two wins is not enough to guarantee their place in the post season. They'll need an asdfjkl; loss or tie. asdfjkl; would win a tiebreaker over the IR unless they tie their last two games while IR wins only one of their last 3.
Broadway has a tougher track. They will be eliminated if the IR win both of their games.
A few scenarios can still play out, and tie breakers will come into play for game 75. For now, all we need to know is that if IR win 2, and asdfjkl; loses, it's allover.
--------------
Rockets can clinch first in the Gilmour with a win or a Whalers loss. Whalers hold the tiebreaker in the event of a tie, as they lead the season series 4-3 (and if it ends up 4-4, there's no way the two teams are tied.)
---------------
KCR vs Lost Cause is a guaranteed matchup (LC loses tiebreaker to BDH) in round 1. Should be a good one. LC have been red hot for the last month and a bit, with going 18-5 in their last 23 games. KCR, well, they've been cool after a torrid start. They only have 13 wins in their last 33 games (13-19-1), and are limping into the playoffs.
---------------
BlackDevilHawks are locked into the 4 or 5 spots and will play either the Whalers or the Rockets.
---------------
Crop Dusters are locked into the 7 spot and will play either the Whalers or the Rockets.
---------------
Seals clinched first overall with their win last night, and a cool $100. While the Rockets gave it their all to repeat, they fell just short of joining the Blindsides as the only team to repeat as regular season champs. They will play whoever gets in to the final playoff spot (IR, asdfjkl;, or Broadway).

Huge fans of the Blindsides and Rocket on Sat. I think I'm going to lose. Jeff has a much better lineup than me. If I can lose, and Duane loses both. I have the inside track.

18-5 last 23 ;)
Ah yes. I get sloppy counting the doubleheaders, sometimes miss them.

I think if we had one of those playoff predictions sites, the IR would be favored to get the last spot by better than 90%. Hard to get ahead of the tiebreaker when he has game in hand on you, though to be fair Duane has gone LL in two doubleheaders so far this year. He's going into both games as a -2.5 dog due to no goalies against opponents who have them, so that helps you for sure.

To be fair, no goalies is only like a 1.0 to 1.5 dog, depending on the opponent's goalies.
But I agree. IR clearly control their own fate and are a favorite. I don't know if it's 90%, but it's more than 50%. They get the Blindsides, but also have to face the Rockets and the Dusters. Biatch gets KCR and the Ales.
Broadway 6.0 vs. Whalers 7.5 asdfjkl; 1.0 vs. KC Reserves 3.0 Lethbridge Golden Seals 5.0 vs. The Ales 5.5 BlackDevilHawks 0.5 vs. Lost Cause 3.5 Royal Oak Fearsome Beavers 2.5 vs. Newmarket Hurricanes 3.5 Iowa Crop Dusters 2.5 vs. Tulane Flyers 1.0 Toronto Rocket 4.5 vs. Injured Reserve 3.0 Blindsides 0.5 vs. Injured Reserve 3.0
Mike managed to dress 4 players who didn't play. Could have definitely won if he swapped out his injured players, depending on who his subs would have been. No impact on standings/ranking though, either way.
Broadway eliminated from playoff contention. Will post the playoff scenarios in Gameday 75.

I just start active players every day. I've been burned before thinking there wasn't a game night. So now I just do it everyday. Then at some point I will adjust lineup.

I do the same thing. That's how I accidently didn't start an OT the other day.
