If Arp and I had played in Round 1, we'd be going to a 7th game.
I think I play you enough as it is!!!
So, Monday is going to be me vs you in game 6 of AHL, and game 1 of FCHL. Am I supposed to root for Mark Stone, Buffy and whoever else Im missing??????

Hahaha LA goalies overlap too. God. That’s been a challenge for me. Had to pick which league to root for. Goals against would cost me the fchl game last night, but the only chance to win the AHL game.
Good luck to you too Dave. I don't think I have anything for you, my lineups in the first three games are not very good and I have no goalies in game 4. Not getting swept would be pretty surprising to me.

Good news/bad news. You can stop worrying about Mark Stone, for the first two games, at least.
Some injuries (and in the case of Goligoski, pregnancies) on both sides make this difficult. It will definitely matter when Mark Stone and Reilly Smith and Mark Scheifele and Auston Matthews and Alex Goligoski are able to return. Most of these players will return during the series, but for now, they're considered out for the first 2 games
But for now, I see it as a close series. Game 1 is a straight coin flip, Rockets have a decent edge in games 2 and 3. Whalers a big edge in game 4, and then coin flips to slight Whaler edges in 5, 6, and 7. It really just depends who gets who back and when.
Returns for Matthews, Smith, Goligoski seem imminent, but who knows.
This series is a coin flip, but I picked me just because.
Golden Seals in 5.
Once again, my projection hates the Lost Cause. Not really sure why. Injuries don't play into this for the LC at all, either, with only Janmark out. I have the Seals as pretty big favorites in all 7 games (1.1, 1.5, 1.3, 1.6, 1.2, 1.5, 0.8). None of those games even come close to what I would call a coin flip (usually use that for projections within 0.200 or so, maybe less).
Since the pool is random, I can see Adam eking out a single win, but the Seals will prove too strong.
Dubey's lineup tonight has me crushed in the last 14 days, +37 to +19. Doesn't help that all my big names are on the bench and he has the hottest forward in the league in his OT spot. I stand no chance.
Thanks, GL to you too, but I dont really mean it. Go get some injuries!!! :)
Honestly, I'm so frustrated right now I can barely get excited for the series. This is the reality of this setup, but I'm on tilt as I watch Schiefele, Matthews and now Stone not be available and have to use guys like Silfverberg and Zetterberg tonight, and have NO ONE tomorrow night for game 2. I cant say I have looked at how the series breaks down with those injuries as you may have, but I have to imagine going from Schiefele and Stone to empty+empty tomorrow night has me screwed. lol
Maybe I get lucky, but at this point, I feel like I am way behind the 8 ball, after working at it to set myself up for a solid lineup throughout the playoffs. Injuries to my top 3 fwds sucks!
I was lucky to even beat Dave last round, I got by thanks to the last assist of the night in Game 6, I was getting crushed if there was a game 7. 1 assist, thats all, and Im out of the playoffs.
OK, rant over. Maybe if I win a game tonight, things will change. :)

I know the feeling well. Look at my AHL lineup tonight. I have to use Milano instead of Stone, lol. FCHL too, but obv not to the extent of having three top end guys out, but Reilly Smith is a surprising 0.650 this season and replacing him with Skinner is a decent downgrade.
But I did factor those injuries in when I ran my projections on the weekend (discussed above) and I don't think you're in much trouble at all. Most of the games are close enough that they could go either way, and if you or I get our injured guys back at some point in the series, it could help tip a game or two in either direction.
I was feeling pretty good about myself with 5.5 already, but Arpy's got some talent left in the late games plus my goalies. Down by 4, and unless Trocheck scores in the final few minutes here, will not have OT.
I think I've got good odds, but not feeling super comfortable.
