Pretty well the same lineup for me as game 4. Except I swap Eberle in for Gourde.

really need the Islanders to do their thing against the Devils tonight and score a bunch of goals. And I'll take a 1-0 victory for Minny over Dallas tonight. Also would be nice if Kris Letang doesn't outscore Evgeni Malkin for the third straight game.

Eberle hat trick would do just fine.

That split second between watching Panarin set up a goal and realizing your opponent's player scored it. Haha.

Wow, Panarin got that 0.5 point back like 2 seconds later. 4 assists in this game. 3 in the last like 3 minutes. And Dubey countered with a Werenski goal.

3-3 and I (currently) have the OT. I’m going to need a lead, and preferably a good sized one, before the late games start or I’m in trouble.

Never mind I don’t have the OT. Not sure what I was thinking. Need a point from Malkin or Laine.

Only person I have in the late games is Dougie Hamilton, so any lead is likely a favorite.

Score mobile is only showing 4 assists, Yahoo is showing 5. Would have been a monster swing if Rasmus freaking Ristolainen hadn’t also assisted on 3 of those goals.

It’s either 6-5 or 6-5.5 right now and you have the OT

My numbers come from NHL.com. Score is the least accurate, I'd bet. Yahoo almost always matching, or even ahead of NHL.com (like show assists before NHL.com does, even).

6.0 to 5.5.

In a tradition I started last year, and one that I think we should continue, no matter who wins, I will once again name a playoff MVP.

Last year, it was Jeff Skinner's ridiculous run of 14g and 6a in 16 appearances that led the way the the Rocket's first title.

This season, it's a player who, ironically, was acquired from the team he helped defeat in the finals this year. In his second year on the Rockets, he earns his second title. Some thought the trade from Chicago, away from Patrick Kane, would hurt his scoring. He's proven all season, and even more so in these playoffs, that he was capable of carrying his own line.

He led the way with 15 FCHL points in 14 appearances, finishing well clear of 2nd place Barkov (9.5 in 14) and 3rd place Ovechkin (8.5 in 10). With 7 goals and 16 assists in 14 playoff appearances, including 1g and 7a in the Finals (4 gp), your 2018 FCHL Playoff MVP is...

Artemi Panarin.

By that logic, it's probably Cam Ward?

Goligoski had 2.5 in 7 appearances... 2.0 of which came in that lucky game 7. Without that, I wouldn't have been in the finals, so I get the logic, but I prefer to reward a larger body of work. Lol.

Thanks guys.

Back to back seems to be strangely common in this league, actually. It’s been done 3 times in what, 11? 12 years? That means like half of all titles were part of a back to back.

I credit my back to backs, at least this half of it, to well-timed luck. And lots of it.
