I gotta say, i’m uncomfortable with this two lineup thing. We can’t do it the rest of the year so why now? Surely sweating the game time decision is part of the game. I’d vote against allowing it next season.

But doing this way is taking essentially setting two lineups as you don’t need to declare which you are using, just your preference if your game time decision plays vs doesn’t play.
I see what you're saying but it doesn't change how you set your lineup. You still need to go and set that lineup. You can't just set a conditional. You can only change players who haven't started. Conditional OT orders won't override what you set on Yahoo. We still go by Yahoo rules for lineups. Say Parise doesn't play, but Josh still had him in his Yahoo lineup, he still counts as being in his lineup and the non-Parise OT order is used.
It's NOT setting two lineups, just a contingent OT order because making changes to your OT order after games have been played can't be done fairly, obviously.
Yeah, that's my bad for not being clear. I don't intend to change the lineup procedure, but because we can change players after the OT deadline, I think it's ok to submit a conditional OT order. Odds are it'll never really matter, but I guess you never know... and that's why we do 10-deep OT orders. Lol.
