I never loved it, and still pretty indifferent. Mostly because I'm not doing a lot of sweating games. I still think the true test is the playoffs when people are living and dying by every play.
Simple solution then... re-instate goalies but double up ala AHL and allow 3 sets, even 4!
Or, nobody owns goalies at all...everyone picks who will represent them in the day's game each gameday. Picking Boston against Columbus could be a smart move, but it could be a bloodbath.
Kinda similar to a football survivor pool where New England losing to the Jets randomly torpedoes a lot of people at once.
