Oh yeah, I forgot to delete the OT part when I copied over the formatting from Game 1

I drafted that guy in the 2nd round. Don't even remember how he ended up on your roster, but he'll probably score a goal tonight.

LOL. so, actually it was the 4th round. and I traded him to you in a farm dump to get under the max farm limit. Just checked the trade and I'm pretty sure I missed out on claiming an extra .25 or .50 from you in 2020-21. Funny that the first reply in that thread is Zach saying basically "Ok, but you guys are responsible for enforcing the conditions of the trade". My bad!

"
Whalers receive:

FARM Laughton, Scott PHI F
FARM Sorensen, Marcus SJS F
FARM Soshnikov, Nikita TOR F
FARM Cernak, Erik LAK D
Seals receive:

$.25 in 2018-2019

PLUS

$.25 in 20-21 if any make Whalers starting lineup for more than 3 games

$.25 in 20-21 if any of them are protected at start of season by the Whalers on main roster in any year from now til 2020.

(so if any of them become a player worth using+protected by Whalers, Seals get $.75. if all of them do (lol), Seals still only get $.75. if none of them do, only the initial $.25)

Ya if you can't remember them, how will I? haha. I've toyed with putting comments in the spreadsheet when draft picks are conditional, but even then I just ignore them and they don't give a reminder or anything... Probably some other way to do it... logging conditions in a separate form in the spreadsheet so they're public for all to see... I dunno if there's a way to put a date/alarm on them somehow...

Maybe pin the trade thread until the condition hits or not?

yeah probably not worth overthinking it. Leaving it up to the owners is the best.

I feel like expecting the GMs who create lengthy trade conditions to remember their own lengthy trade conditions if they want them enforced is perfectly appropriate.

OMG. I guess that was "if they EVER make starting lineups"

Ok, I owe you a quarter next year. If Im not already at $45 bottom, its yours. :)

If not next year, then 23-24 for sure

Im pretty sure I never used any of the other guys ever.....maybe Soshnikov for like 1 playoff game hail mary callup

Dave trying to be the unnecessarily nicer guy and get Karma on his side in the finals....no chance pal.

Zach, transfer $.25 from Whalers to Seals for 23-24 season as soon as you can please.....maybe once its done, Matthews miraculously recovers.

If dubey doesn't want the 0.25, I'm ok with taking it from arp.

lol. And very accurate. I guess it was a low scoring night for many of the games, but still.
