True story...the first game I looked at when I was reviewing scores (because I'm a sadist and I like to look at the box scores for each game to see if my guy did anything rather than just checking Yahoo for the overall Lost Cause performance) was the Philly game and I saw that the inconsistent shell of Matt Read's career went off for a goal and a half...and I was pissed at myself for not starting him.
not only do I check box scores first, I have to check my opponents players first, best to worst. Kind of a hear the bad news first thing I guess, and I always seem to prefer being the comeback, instead of the guy in the lead.

i only check my opponents scores first if they have a stud playing, like crosby or stamkos caliber. based on what they have done, i either keep checking or just give up until the late games. i usually check at 6:30, 7:00 (before the hawks start) and then when i have either finished or caught up to hawks game. then i just watch nhl live later on for live look-ins on the late games.no center ice for me this year. i didn't think i watched it enough last year, but now i miss it.
