Feel like I really like my Hagelin pick up a lot more today than yesterday.

In 61 games for the Pens (regular season and playoffs), he played at a 0.483 pace. His 0.331 regular season last year is seriously weighed down by a brutal start in Anaheim. Think he'll safely be a 0.400 or better player this season.

Problem is, I didn't really mean to get him. I was saving money to call up some prospects... Ryan Murray ($2.00), Ryan Strome ($2.00) and Anthony Duclair ($1.00), but instead got Marleau ($3.00) and Hagelin ($2.00).

I'm not sure which group I'd rather have for $5. Guess it depends how far Marleau falls.

Oh, Doan too. I didn't really want him for $2.25, either, Lol.

Stats must be trending up as we speak, I see Ennis at 14% and Granlund at 9%.

Does anyone have any confidence that Duane is going to get his farm team in order by 7 pm tonight? 3 hours left and still no acknowledgement... am I being paranoid? Is there just a mistake in the spreadsheet and perhaps he's actually at 28 players, not 29?

What's the penalty for going over? Lose your games until you're compliant? Locked out of farm transactions until the next draft? It's never come up before, I don't believe.

He is at 29, with cap space...so I'd imagine he's trying to decide whether to call someone up or not. He was on five hours ago and it's not like you haven't brought this up before.

I would guess losing games. But it should literally never get to that point.

I would guess losing games. But it should literally never get to that point.

Not for the sake of clinging tight to Jason Akeson anyway.

haha, love it. This year is one of those unfortunate rebuilding years but I should be a force again from next year. I look forward to resuming battle.
