It's pretty crazy, I must say. Easily the biggest blockbuster of my career, hopefully I don't end up regretting it.

Well, in a nutshell, John posted that he wasn't going for it this year, I inquired about one of his rentals, then before he answered I proposed the first blockbuster that would see me getting Stamkos and Malkin. John summarily rejected my proposal and said that Reinhart needed to be coming his way to consider doing a deal with me, and listed Bjorkstrand and Point as the other prospects I had that he wanted. From there, we had a framework and it was just a matter of making the money work, there wasn't any negotiation about the minor players, they were just necessarily throw ins for cap compliance. John tacked the 4th round pick into one of his counters and I just thought it was funny so I left it in my final counter, which was accepted.

I've always found Adam and John to be 2 of the easiest dudes to deal with.

Ya, I would agree with that. My fallback for easiest to deal with is always Dubey, but honestly, I cant think of anyone in the FCHL I have found difficult to deal with. Even when we're way off (and JOhn+I kind of were on this one), its really smooth and cordial, and its kind of like "whatever, we dont agree, good luck". In other pools, everyone gets all bent out of shape

Jay, when Rich asked you how his ass tastes, it was his way of mocking the fact that your vastly superior team was marginally defeated by his noticeably inferior lineup in Wednesday night's matchup between your two teams.

The appropriate responses would be "I would have no way of knowing, but I know who you can ask" "like Mom's fried chicken" or "kind of ****ty"...it's really personal preference as to the verbiage, humor content and tone of your response.
