Man, two games in a row against no-goalie opponents. Must have done something right this year for Santa to be so good to me. Can't imagine what that might be.

They should have totally followed the Crop Dusters strategy of lucking into Connor McDavid and they wouldn't be in this position. Really nobody to blame but yourselves boys.

I've been thinking about that lately too. I'm absolutely dreading the next downswing I have. My first one was soooo long - building from basically nothing as an expansion team. I'll need to find a way to do it without it taking 3 years of 1st round draft picks (which, in hindsight, were mostly busts* anyways).





*Ryan Strome, Brett Connolly, Ryan Murray, probably more... all currently useless. The 1st rounds I got who were good I got the year after I made the playoffs for the first time... somehow regressed, got the 3rd/4th overall picks, got Ehlers and Nylander, and now that may be directly responsible for a successful season, god willing.

Now not so smart since he had an assist taken away and the Raffl scored.

Where the hell is Zach? I don't think I can go to sleep without knowing who he has left playing, who his opponent has left and who has the OT?

Each of the past 2 seasons ended with a two-way tie for first overall, 88 points in each year.

I'd be on pace for 89 in a 70-game season... so we're basically right at that same level of parity, I think.
