If Biatch, Josh, and Jeff all win (all quite likely), we'll have 4 teams within 1 point of each other atop the standings.

Just wanted to say thanks to Zach for reminding me to set my lineup.

The boys heard that 1st place was on the line and showed up with some determination. We're up by 7 right now.

Arvidsson is making it super hard for me to continue slow cooking him. He'd be tied with Gaudreau, Mackinnon and Radulov for my second-highest producing forward and third most productive player overall.

I honestly thought the Pens were gonna be ****e tonight. Not having Daley and Letang is brutal and it showed the last 2 games (2-1 OT losses), but man were they ever damn impressive.

Lol yeah. He's on my AHL farm, as you may recall. He'd literally be my 2nd best forward after tonight. Only Stone ahead of him. Arvidsson ahead of MacKinnon, Toffoli, Kuznetsov, Palat, Sutter, etc.  But because the AHL rules are, well, different, I'm keeping him down until rosters expand in February and then calling him up for free next year. Why would I call him up? Rules are weird. Oh, and I have literally no chance to win my division or ever beat Bob in the playoffs, so who gives a ****?

Anyways, he's doing better than Grigorenko, thank god.

The only reason I haven't already called him up is that I traded for Colin Wilson who is performing reasonably well (10 FCHL points to Arvy's 14.5) for me, and I have him for another season. I also worry about bringing him up when he's hot and then being annoyed with myself for burning a cheap season if/when he hits those rookie dog days and inevitably cools down.

Left a lot of points in the bench but luckily do did Jay.

How about that Jeff Petry guy. Weber who? Don't need him.

What are the chances Arvidsons 2022/23 season is better than this season? Call the man up.

Too late for me tonight. Scores tomorrow, unless Adam does them, then I'll be heading home before the next game ends so I won't have a computer... and doing the scores on my phone is too infuriating for me. Lol. So if someone is around to do them for Thus/Fri and maybe next Tues, that would be useful. Thanks.

Dammit. Left a lot on thebench but had Turris in my lineup up until about 6:50 when I changed him for Brouwer. I over thought it. Need to stick with my gut. Pretty sure my last minute changes have all been bad decisions.

Also mark it down as game 1 of Keslers 25 game pointless streak. ;)

  • LGS winless streak reaches 15. Presumably one non-win away from tying the record (though we never kept track of it).
  • Jeff's team is 15-3 over his last 18, an insane run. 24-9 after his 2-7 start.
  • Other hot streaks:
    • Josh is 11-2-1
    • Rocekts are 8-2/15-6
    • Whalers 11-5
    • ROFB 10-6-2
    • asdfjkl; 8-1-1
    • NMH 8-3-3
    • LC 7-4
  • Lots of people trending up.

I managed to leave 3 goals on the bench.

I almost always start Cogliano and Doonskoi but I decided I didn't want to forwards going against Carey Price, so I benched Cogliano, and I went with Pominville over Doonskoi since Minny was playing Colorado.

I have lagged much of the league in my actual scoring for many of these nights. My team is doing okay up front, but my goalie situation is awful. Tl;dr: I trust Zach's averages more than results.

Hmm, maybe I'll try to post an update on all that tonight before I go home for the holidays.

Nice, didn't even realize I had a double header going. Fortunately Carter and Atkinson were clutch.

Didn't you say that last time you had a double header? Lol

They sneak up on ya!
