Kind of an interesting twist this year. Every team will have at least 5 days off at one point in January of February. So keep that in mind if you're wondering why your star hasn't played in what feels like forever.

Ollie's team decided not to bother and took an extended holiday instead, so I've got one of my DH games locked up.

The second against Arp is a lot more bitter. Currently I'm ahead 5.5 to 4.0, but I've still got my goalies to fade (SJ). Also need to fade Seguin, Dillon, Jokipakka.

Travel day for me, and back to work in the AM, so I need to get to bed... won't be able to do the scores til later on, maybe tomorrow night, if Adam doesn't get to them first.

On another note, my lineup scored 7.5 points tonight not including goalies. My bench scored 8.5. I don't remember my team ever scoring close to 16 on a game night in any year. Watch out for this team in the future boys and girls. Its coming

  • Adam's 8.5 is the second highest score of the season (TOR - 9.0)
  • John's bench was insane
  • 6 wins in a row, 9 in 10, 12 in 14 for the Rockets
  • BDH breaks his 6-game losing streak
  • LGS has 1 win in 18 games (1-16-1)
  • KCR has cooled off a bit - 7-5 in the last 12
  • Rockets have a 5 point lead atop the standings after a big DH double win - largest lead in recent memory, probably of the season
  • Dusters with a rare loss. Only their second in the last 17 games (13-2-2)
  • Blindsides with only 3 wins in their last 21 (3-18)
  • "21 straight games with a positive score. These are the things dreams are made of for the Beavers."

Going to add some bonus bullets here now that I'm home and have updated some stats (and because it's me bragging):

  • Toronto Rocket have scored 25.0 in their last 4 games (7, 6.5, 6.5, 5)
  • TOR have taken over 1st place in the average score rankings
  • Rockets have 6 scores of 5.0 or higher in the last 11 game nights
  • Rockets have held sole possession of the highest score of the night on 6 occasions and lead the league in that category (Whalers, Lost Cause each have 5)
  • Steve's streak of non-negative scores is 20 game nights (I suppose 21 games, but I don't count DH as 2 scores in my tables)
