We skipped 9 6-game nights this season... and it's different every year.
How do we re-allocate the double-headers/byes in a fair manner? I don't know. I guess it's doable if we start with multiple double headers on some nights. I feel like someone will find something to complain about, though. lol
I do agree with the expansion to 16 teams. I just wish the NHL would expand to 32 teams sooner than it seems like it's going to, just because having 32 sets of goalies when there's only 31 sets in the NHL will be a bit of a hassle, though not insurmountable.
A dispersal draft would certainly be interesting...
Would you put draft-eligible players (ie <10 NHL GP) from the contracted team back into the draft?
To help with parity; it may be better if all my farm players just went to Steve. Doing so would eventually disperse the players to everyone else anyways via poor trades.

Oops. Sometimes I open up the live stat tracker thing early in the day, and because people can keep changing players, etc after the games start, the lineups become wrong... I thought Ollie missed, but he's good to go. Still not putting up any points, though.
Iowa Crop Dusters 2.0 vs. Blindsides (-1.0) KC Reserves 3.0 vs. Whalers (-1.0) Injured Reserve 3.5 vs. Newmarket Hurricanes 5.5 The Ales 2.0 vs. Toronto Rocket 3.5 BlackDevilHawks 4.5 vs. Tulane Flyers 1.0 Broadway 0.0 vs. Lost Cause 2.0 Royal Oak Fearsome Beavers 2.0 vs. asdfjkl; (-0.5) Lethbridge Golden Seals 4.5 OT vs. BlackDevilHawks 4.5
BDH split their double header, losing in OT to a miraculous Seals performance
Seals win with an OT score of 2.5 (GGA) to the Hawks 2.0 (GAA)
The Seals score of 4.5 eviscerates their cumulative score over the last 19 (!!!!!) game nights (3.0)
Predictably, only the Seals 2nd win in the last 23 games (2-20-1)
Beavers non-negative streak up to 25 game nights
Beavers only with 1 score of zero over that stretch, and that happened just 3 games into the streak
Rocket remain red hot, depending on how far back you want to go, we've can look at their streak as 10-1 or 16-3 or 23-7
Whalers 5-game win streak comes to an end, longest current streak is 4 games, belonging to the Rockets
Longest current losing streak belongs to the Flyers at 5 after the Seals put an end to their 6-gamer
Hurricanes post the top score for the second consecutive night, starting to heat up as the Hurricanes are known to do heading towards the stretch drive (6-2 in their last 8)
ROFB and the Lost Cause are able to close the gap a little in the race for the final playoff spot - 3 points back of Broadway now
Blindsides lead the league with 15 negative scores, next closest are the Ales with 9
Rockets have just 2 negative scores this year, leading the way from the other end
Trade deadline is less than a month away: Sunday, February 5th, 11:59:59 pm ET
