I'm happy to add the brackets, keep scores, etc to the main playoff posts if everyone is into it.

Jay it feels so weird not having to fade Thornton. Like, I still get all tense when he gets the puck in an offensive situation.

Now I'm just .5 behind Adam. Our OT players both blanked, so a tie is possible, and it works for me.

Why the hell didn't I call up Strome instead of using Barkov as my OT player!!!

Burns appears to have picked up a magic assist somewhere.

Oh man, there's no way that's the case. Couture's goal should have been unassisted. The ****ing Canucks player basically gave it right to him. They're going to tell me the Canucks didn't gain possession? Insanity. And how did Burns even get there. It was clearly Boedkker. Wtf.

Actually, I watched it again. I'm satisfied with the assist. But man, Burns touched it like an hour and like 40 bounces and near possession changes before the goal. LOL.

No, I retract that. Burns took the shot. Marleau tipped it. Goalie saved it. Canucks player whacks it into the corner where Marleau picks it up and turns back towards the middle of the ice. Loses it, but Canucks definitely don't gain possession here, but it bounces around some skates of both teams, then Marleau pokes it to Couture who shoots and scores.

How is the Canucks player firing the rebound away from the goal not considered possession? That's goddamn ridiculous.

And that's a change they LOOKED AT IN THE INTERMISSION WITH SEVERAL REPLAYS AND SOMEHOW CAME TO THAT CONCLUSION.

Jay is easily the luckiest fantasy hockey player ever.

Combine that with exceptional skill, no wonder he's unbeatable.

I have no idea why you didn't.  I used Strome in AHL

If the replay is how you described it may get changed again.

Yeah, maybe in two weeks when it's too late. Haha.

Hopefully it doesn't come down to it, whoever wins.

Oh I haven't even looked at the other games. Lol. Too much drama between me and Jay and you in the AHL.

Holy **** how did Thornton not score - would be a Burns assist. Then Vlasic is in the slot with the goaltender pulled and passes it away. lol

Ok... wow.

Well, the Rockets are in the clubhouse with a 3.0. So I don't beat Adam.

There's got to be at least one more goal in LA/TOR.

Jay needs a Kadri assist, and a Bozak fade.

It's simple. If Kadri doesn't get a point, I win the regular season.

If Kadri scores, Jay wins. If Kadri assists and Bozak doesn't get a point, Jay wins.

The networks are scrambling now trying in vain to find a suitable Prime time game replacement for opening night of the playoffs

Whalers/NMH is the marquee matchup. Should be the main event for the heavyweight title, but instead it's just an undercard.

Don't be so sure. You're the fave in game one if Oshie or Panarin don't play. Already lost Okposo.

Both Panarin and Oshie in full morning skate and practice respectively today. If I get out of this losing only Okposo, I'll be thrilled.
