My team is so bad. The correct strategy is probably to continue to rebuild in 18/19 to get a few more top end assets but I can't take it anymore. Dressing Matt Moulsons carcass twice i a week really makes you evaluate things...

EDIT - Numerous stat corrections have been reflected above. The only final result affected is between Lost Cause and Ales. The results been reversed due to the Ales losing 0.5 from Troy Stecher. Several other scores were altered by 0.5 with no effect on the results. The Ales other game resulted in a change from a regulation win to an OT win, still for the Ales.
EDIT2 - More assists added for Lost Cause change it again to a regulation win. Other minor changes made to other games, no impacts on results.
Quick Hits

Ales also end their winless start with a double header double win

Random spreadsheet question, is Steve currently over his cap limit or is that an error?
It sure does appear that way.
Steve, what's going on? Did I make a mistake somewhere? I couldn't find it at first glance.
Was there a presumption or communication during trade negotiations for Burns that the cap difference would be trued up by Jay? He has extra cap space but that caveat wasn't mentioned in the transaction.
Steve should have been compliant before this game, but since it didn't affect the result, no harm no foul. Non-compliance from here on out is an automatic loss.
The difference between Provorov and Burns was $3.00 and it was an honest oversight to not include it. I asked Steve today if I could keep a quarter and I would give him a 5th in return. At first he said just keep the quarter so that's why I said to transfer the $2.75. After further discussion be said he would take it if I wanted to give it so I've added that as well. Sorry it got so messy at the end.
Oops, I read it wrong the first time and thought Steve was giving up a 5th. I've fixed it in the spreadsheet.
Now that it's settled, I wanted to say that I think the right thing was done because I think there's usually an implied "includes the cash difference this year" in our trade discussions, just due to the way we handle in-season salary. I want to commend Jay for doing that, because he certainly wasn't bound by league rules to do so.
I didn't want to say that should be the outcome before it was resolved, though. Good work, guys.
