As we all expected, at this point in the season, the Rockets highest PPG player is...

Mathieu Perreault (8pg, 5g, 3a - 0.813)

If you're interested in trading Subban I'm open for business.

Because you need Stamkos, Crosby, AND Subban.

It's crossed my mind a few times that I have a pretty good case for tanking and selling my UFAs... could get a lot of value out of Subban, Skinner, Eberle, plus RFA Kessel.

I feel dirty thinking about that one season removed from the title, and with nearly the same team, I should be going for it, but this is a good opportunity to re-stock a little bit... so maybe we'll see how the next 20 games go.

Don't forget Gaudreau! We currently feature two of the top three scorers in the league, and Crosby isn't even one of them. He's actually having a pretty pedestrian season so far.

Crosby has been pretty brutal, tbh. The Pens aren't scoring a ton at 5 on 5.

Did losing Bonino really hurt them this much, or is it something else?

Doubt it was that. Dunno, tired of two long, long seasons, the reality that the regular season doesn't mean much?

I think they also have like the worst PDO in the league, so the scoring will come around.

Hopefully he gets it going at some point soon...to be honest the only reason he's even making my lineups right now is because his name is Sidney Crosby.

I was looking at your lineup today. I didn’t even know who Gaudreau was. Our lineups are decently close for tonight, based on averages anyway.

My luck against you, Tavares will probably get another hatty. That's what sunk me last time.

Yeah. Everything is just kinda working this season. I was so close to dismantling it earlier in the year. This lineup is not that different from last year’s.

Steve, need some help.

I need to drop one of these forwards.

Kessel/Barkov/Skinner/Ehlers are locks.

Panarin probably should be a lock though he's my 9th best forward at the moment.

Eberle and Smith I guess is my toss up? Maybe Panarin.

What do you think. Who do you have a good feeling about?

Does it matter? It's a guaranteed win. Leave two forward spots empty. You'll still win.

You had a few guys that under performed a bit last season. I think This season is probably more representative of your teams skill, with the exception of Schenn who is playing out of his mind.

Yeah no. My team is legit bad. I'm realistic. I'm now just hoping some of these bums get off the schnide and perform so I can trade them.

Eichel has had gone cold and was in the 3rd line. Burns and Buffy combine for zero goals this season and only score assusts on non game nights. Saad and panic started off hot then became non factors for the last 13 games.

My best players, minus Hedman who is living up to his potential, are Moore, Perron, Buchnevich, Brodie, and Bjugstad. Maybe Turris as well.

And my goalies are essentially good for -2 at the minimum.

Im being realistic. At this time this team is poop. I have zero idea who to play tonight. I've changed my lineup 3 times already. I'm just plain frustrated. Maybe I'm being whiny but I had high hopes to compete and now I'm trying to climb out of 10/11th. And looking at my future, there's not much to get excited about. So yeah sorry. i have nowhere else to vent my frustration. My wife dosent  really care. Jin thinks fantasy hockey is stupid. 😞

The people who wrote it up that way were fishing for clicks. There's no way in the world that the Larsson line is the #2 line for the Sabres, Jack just got new wingers and the situation didn't even last a game before he and Kane were back together.

Well he still is underperforming. He's like rank #67th in our league.
Turns out Larkin and Buchnevich are my best players at #56 and #57 in the league. Buch is way better though since Larkin scores the vast majority on non game nights. Now that I have a laptop I'm totally going to waste hours figuring out each players ppg on non game and game nights so I can get even more angry. 😛

I'd be happy to take him off your hands at a rate commensurate with his current production.

Of course you would. He'll think how cheaply burns might be had for based on his lack of production. At this point, as I said above, I'm holding out in hopes these guys get back to their levels so that I can get better value.

Steve you should trade one of your D for one of Arps forwards. Bith teams would improve a lot IMO

I feel you Steve. My team has been awful so far. I've somehow managed to stay around .500 despite poor production from some of my biggest stars. McDavid is pretty much the only guy I have been able to count on for consistent performance all year.

My top guys seem to be taking turns getting injured. As soon as one comes back, another goes down. Pavelski is apparently playing through some unknown injury which has limited his production, but I wish he would just go on IR or something and get right instead of continuing at this pace.

If I have any injuries or can't get out of this offensive slump soon, I'm going to seriously consider moving some assets.

Hell, I was already considering it given how aggressive everyone has been with improving their squads.

Duchenne for Brodie or Byfuglen (and something) for Hall make both teams better.

Hall moves Steve into the top 5 in the league and if Byfuglen takes off Arp might be the best team in the league.

why did you take Detroit over Edmonton? Not criticizing, but I'm curious what your thought process was.

Edmonton has been playing like straight up poop. 18 GA the last 3 games. I didn't feel comfortable playing them at all.

Also Detroit at home on a 5 game home point streak. I don't like either choice but there was no chance I was playing EDM.

Based on my secret strategy (that I'd assume most people use), I would have started Detroit as well.

FWIW Steve, expected score right now in our game is 1.6 to 1.5... you're not exactly out of it. I still have goalies left.

Sorry buddy, but if you're using Bjugstad on a night like tonight when the whole league is active, either

a) you have Tarasenko+Schenn+Schwartz  (st.louis only team not playing tonight)

OR

b) your forwards are pretty bad

I play guys who score for me. He does, consistently. Pretty sure he only scores on game nights. And yes my forwards are bad on top of that. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Decided to look this over and I don't see how Hall puts me top 5.  maybe on paper but with projected stats my team is barely making playoffs.  bad gtd and my best player projecting to score 35-40 less points than last year is my issue. I don't see how Hall boosts me very much at all. But maybe that's why I'm no good at this because I don't see it as a positive move.
