I dont understand
"Decided to look this over and I don't see how Hall puts me top 5. maybe on paper..."

where else is it going to make you look better?

not any kind of offer, but for example

Hall 13.5pts (all games, not just game nights, but Im pretty sure NJD plays a lot of games)

Your best fwd: 12.5pts
Your 7th fwd: 8.5pts (assuming this is who Hall replaces on a night like yesterday)
Thats a 4pt gain so far over your worst, and he would be an improvement every night he played.

Byfuglyien: 5pts
Your 5th D that would now become a regular: 4pts, and you have like 4 of them.

No 1 trade is going to make you a top team, but its clearly obvious you need a fwd.

And if we're being honest, then its also just as clear that I am too heavy in the forward department, and too weak in D. I need a D bad. Its my fault, laziness, that I dont have a better team.

It would seem we are a good match, though I suppose you disagree. I thought Rich had some good ideas, but problem is, Hall is like $2.50 and Buffy is like $14. That makes them very uneven.

this is the strangest 'trade talk' ive ever had, since neither of us has reached out privately and we squashed it publicly before it ever really started. lol

Ok well as I stated before in this topic and im sure in others, I clearly don't know wtf im doing. I'm surely not pretending to be a know it all here.  I really don't know what to say. i read all your guys trade topics here and fcp and to be stupidly honest, I simply can't grasp half the **** you all talk about. Since day 1 I've never figured out value. Ever. It's why my deals are such ****. Plain and simple. I can do it with football with confidence nowadays but it's just easier to learn. Hockey has just been always over my head. I hate trading. H a t e i t ! I hate having to make the initial offer. I always offer up too much and get raped or offer up to little and feel like I inadvertently offended the other GM. I guess I'm the DannyG replacement. I'm the Mustangs of the FCHL but I just don't pretend to know what I'm doing.

I'm just not having fun so maybe I'm whining too much. I don't mean to do it on purpose or for attention. Just being blunt? Maybe I should be more like Zach and  not post when I'm not winning. ;)

I will freely admit that I was not nearly as involved when my team was sucking. I also have a much healthier work/life balance these days, though.

Oh, I bug Zach about it, but I am certain I was the same way here in my 'middle of the road' years.

When your team is 'in the middle' (not good enough to win it all, not bad enough to be on a true rebuild) its really not fun at all, and you get bored+disinterested fast. Winning is fun, and knowing you might win soon because you have a great farm is fun, otherwise....eh, boring.

I meant for when I was uninterested. I like winning, or rebuilding.

You only like to talk about things when you win.

I saw on Yahoo today that Anders Lee got awarded an assist for this game

This would change the result of my game with Jay

I originally lost in OT 4.5 to 4.5

This change would make it 5 to 4.5

Anders Lee was credited with an assist. This changes Broadway's game from a 4.5 to 4.5 OT loss to a 5.0 to 4.5 win.

Nick Leddy had an assist taken away. This puts Crop Dusters and the IR in a 3.5 - 3.5 game. Crop Dusters maintain their win, however, due to a 1.0 to 0.5 OT score.
