Mike commented on one of my fb posts. I told him he missed 3 lineups and it's getting to be a bit detrimental to the league but thanks for the easy win on Friday. His response
"Beeen working 18 hour days toward closing on the office yesterday. Got sick today. The league will survive."
Take that as you will...

I like Mike as a person, I really do...but his attitude towards this league does not line up with the other 14 of us by a country mile. It seems clear to me that it's no more important to him than a random Yahoo rotisserie league that he's presently 14th out of 15th in. And that's fine, for him, but that's not the kind of league we're running. 14/15 of us literally put icing our lineups and improving our teams ahead of nearly everything else in our lives (mostly because doing so takes far less than a half hour per day) so the glaring contrast in his attitude stands out like an injured phalange.
I have a hard time envisioning a future where this doesn’t end with us moving on from Mike. It’s just a matter of how much longer do we want to drag it out. That’s up to the league as a whole.
I agree with Adam. Mike obviously has a lot going on, but if he wants us to help him out he can't also block the commissioner from any means of communicating with him. Zach is a really hands on dedicated commissioner. How much can we expect Zach to chase someone down?
Also, we focus a lot on lineups but there is also the matter of roster management etc. I remember him being heavily engaged in season 1 and a random season where it seems like he was contending, but he has a lot of stretches where he doesn't log in or make any moves for months. I'm not sure if we view this as an issue or not, I'm just pointing out that this isn't like a heavily engaged owner is all of a sudden disengaged. He's always been the least active by a mile.

I do sympathize with everything he has going on in his personal life, not trying to come across as harsh or unfeeling by any means. At the same time, who doesn't have five minutes sitting on the can with their phone to set lineups for the week and stay within at least the barest minimum of participation? I'm not going to pile on anymore.
I feel genuinely bad for the things he is going through, but it feels like the time has come for us to make a firm decision.
This league is not a priority for him in any way these days, and thats understandable. But even in past years, as Rich pointed out, I had the sense it wasn't really that important to him, so why keep going with this. Lets make the call, now or later, but make the call. Secret vote, whatever, I dont know.

Whats the drawback to 14? I kind of like 14, unless im missing something. Uneven divisions?

I'd vote for 15. We are thinking of ousting a GM to make the league run smoother And less hiccups Why Change it up to throw more monkey wrenches into the pile? We know how to deal with 15. Keep it at 15.
