Note, because of a glitch in the data, recently traded players only register as being on their new team once they've played a game, so these could be a little off. May be able to update later. Injuries are sort of accounted for. Anyways...
First round predictions:
Seals vs Reserves - Seals in 5
Bergeron injury hurts the IR in a big way. With him, I think the IR would have had a serious chance of beating the Seals. However, instead, the IR don't have an edge in any of the 7 games. Seals have 2 biggish edges in games 2 and 3 and a huge edge in game 6. Game 7 is the closest of the series, so if it gets there, it's a coin flip, but it's really unlikely. IR would need to win both close-ish games and win one as a big dog.
Rockets vs Dusters - Rockets in 5
Somehow, the Dusters seem to be the weakest team in the first round. The closest they get to the Rockets in any game is 0.5 points in game 3. The rest of the first 5 games have the Rockets with edges of 1.5, 2.4, 2.0, 2.2. Odds might be closer to this being a sweep, but the Dusters have the talent to win at least one game here.
KCR vs Lost Cause - KCR in 6
I've only got the LC as a favorite in one game, game one, and it's only an edge of 0.12. Essentially a coin flip. Bigger edges go to the KCRs, with edges of 1.0 and 0.8 in games 2 and 3. The edges aren't so big that they're insurmountable, though. This assumes Kucherov is good to go, too, btw. If he's out for a week, it could be a different story. Anyways, KCR has the edge here, but it's not as massive as the two series above. It could probably go either way, but my "model" leans heavily towards the faves, so no reason to deviate.
Whalers vs BlackDevilHawks - Whalers in 5
Though one would think this would be a closer series when looking at the standings, the truth is, the Whalers have the best team in the playoffs. Whalers have advantages of 2.2, 2.8, 0.2, 2.6, 1.2, 1.3, and 1.3. Only one toss up in the bunch, so lets give it to BDH, but the other games, the edges are just too big. We get a little closer as the series goes on, but this series should start 2-0, and that'll take too much to get over for BDH. Certainly capable of winning a couple of the games with a 1-goal edge, but not sure they can do it 3 times, plus win the toss up.

I'm actually not surprised at all. Strip away my top forwards and Ghost/Sergachev, and what you are left with is a lack of depth, underwhelming Dmen, and terrible goaltending/goalie coverage.
A sweep by the Rockets is definitely a possibility. If McDavid/Draisaitl get hot, I may be able to win a game or two.
I tallied up the total goals for Jeff's lineup tonight vs mine in the last two weeks, and he's got me +41 to +30. Going to have to get a little lucky here, which is historically not a Lost Cause strong suit.
You guys in the MDG Memorial can do whatever with your lineups on Yahoo, so long as you are all ok with it. I have to re-enter the lineups every year. I've never figured out how to roll the keepers over.
Same as Steve. I'll just update my scores in here. I feel like getting the farmies some experience on the big club is going to be huge for the Blindsides come next season.
Noted Seal killer Justin Williams finding a way to contribute to the cause even when I’m not playing against him. Scored a goal against my goalies already tonight.

Imagine how you would feel if you were actually playing against him+his 2 goals.
And the 2 Bruins who have 5 goals.
Yup, 7 goals for Davey already. Sure, okay

I managed to get out of the Oilers game with McDavid and Draisaitl only picking up 2.5...
So it's down to Pavelski for the Dusters, and my goalies (LAK), Panarin, and Vlasic.
I've got a 1 goal lead, and win in OT. So he needs to gain 1.5.
... as I write this, Vlasic scores... but I don't know whether to believe the Score alert or not, as they just tricked me by telling me Goligoski scored a minute ago, when he apparently did not. If it stands, he needs 2.5.

Duane was *this* close to an upset. Got that Carter goal he needed, but his goalies gave up a meaningless goal in what was then a 7-1 game. Loses in OT. Brutal. If you're going to beat a #1 seed, you've got to be on the right side of luck in those scenarios.
