Back to my prediction post in the game 1 thread:

Whalers vs BlackDevilHawks - Whalers in 5

Though one would think this would be a closer series when looking at the standings, the truth is, the Whalers have the best team in the playoffs. Whalers have advantages of 2.2, 2.8, 0.2, 2.6, 1.2, 1.3, and 1.3. Only one toss up in the bunch, so lets give it to BDH, but the other games, the edges are just too big. We get a little closer as the series goes on, but this series should start 2-0, and that'll take too much to get over for BDH. Certainly capable of winning a couple of the games with a 1-goal edge, but not sure they can do it 3 times, plus win the toss up.

BDH won the toss up game, and one of the games as a huge dog. As suggested, we get closer later in the series, so Arp's advantage drops to 1.2 to 1.3 per game. Still pretty meaningful, but as Davey showed us, definitely surmountable. Though, IMO, Arp is still the favorite, this is anybody's game, still. Maybe 55/45 or 60/40?

Still an underdog, but it has at least given me a small chance to pull off the upset.
