I'm dumb, for some reason after I saw your end of year numbers, I thought the gap already TODAY was 44.
Realizing now 44 was the number for the 9th place total, not the gap
Anyway, the Seals are much better than the Reserves. Duh. lol

Well I guess when you don't set your lineup that could contribute a big deal to it. (Nieto benched yesterday over open spot, nothing teed up yet today)
the middle of the playoff picture is heating up... Lost Cause of won 8 of 9, Broadway won 6 of 7... Rockets dropped 3 of 4.
5. Rockets 57 6. Broadway 56 7. Lost Cause 55
It's seriously amazing that I've had to win 8 of 9 just to tread water somewhat in the middle of the pack. Still 11 points out of 4th place, 11 points out of 9th place, and 14 points out of the division lead. I guess the Whalers putting up their traditional +7 each night is helpful when maintaining a lead. ;) I just shake my head every morning when I check/do the scores...Arp's consistency on offense is on another plane this year.
The whole thing makes it impossible for me to figure out what I should be doing with the trade deadline coming up. That's the other constant headache. I just know if I start buying, I'll regret it.

Mark down Marner for two goals in the first period of the afternoon session...
Not sure how much longer I can maintain my scoring without Byfuglyien, JBenn, Dumba, Forsberg, Trochek, Klefbom. I hope at least 4 of these guys are healthy come March

However much I hate leaving goals on the bench, I really hate doing that on short nights. I had nine forwards to work with and nearly left two goals on the bench already. Thankfully I subbed Koivu in on a whim but now I’m sure Lehkonen will make me pay for it.
