Gg Arp. I was always a huge underdog to win but my team scored a combined four goals across the four games and that’s just never gonna get it done.

GG Ollie. Tough time for CBJ to go ice cold on you, 4 nights is nothing in NHL terms.

I got serge jinxed by Arp. Wtf dude.

Sorry bud. I'll lay off, I was just trying to make you feel good about your success.

and for the record, Serge is more of a "STEVE WILL WIN TONIGHT FOR SURE" kind of guy, and Im more of a "wow, Steve has done very well last 3 games". I didn't say you would definitely keep it up. :)

Ok, note my last 2 posts...

1. Ollie's bad run with CBJ this last week

2. Serge Jinx

So I go on AHL Slack, and I see this:
Serge Bogosyan [11:15 AM]
Pittsburgh vs Columbus back to back this week...Its huge games..I have adopted Columbus as the team I am pulling for as one of my very close friends here is a huge Jackets fan

Sabres literally have a better statistical shot at #1 overall than we do at the playoffs at this point. What a dismal collapse. Almost as bad as the Lost Cause disappearing act they just pulled.

Are they becoming Edmonton lite?  There's more than enough high drafted talent there to do something in a playoff run.  Kind of discouraging to see them fall back after that 10 game winning streak earlier this season where I think every game was won in OT or SO lol.  I was hoping for some sweet Leafs/Sabres rivalry games that would actually mean something.

There was just an article on The Athletic yesterday or the day before linking the two teams woes. Basically summed it up to the two teams having bottom-2 goals for and bottom-2 goals against, and how you really can't expect to win games when that is the case.

It's a shame we didn't or couldn't jump on Barry Trotz when he quit the Washington job...the turnaround he's cultivated with the Islanders makes me sick to think we could have easily hired him. Pretty well convinced that Housley just isn't the guy for this team. I don't know who would be, to be honest.

I agree a professional, experienced career coach is needed. I thought firing Bylsma was premature from afar but I don't really watch a lot of Sabres games.

The sad thing is that two years of Bylsma/Murray provided more points in the standings than two years of Botterill/Housley. We're going in the absolute wrong direction.

Pains me to say it, but I have this sneaking suspicion that Botterill/Bylsma might have been the right combo. Murray's style of trading shipped a lot of value out for not a lot of return, and his drafting was horrendous. Botterill is a more careful trader and a better drafter, at least so far.

Geez man...what do we have to do to get you to take the MDG Trophy seriously? It's a very prestigious award!

Dale, I dont think you are aware of how pivotal MDG was to many Championship teams.

I lost count , but at some point, you couldnt win a crown around here without some "support" from MDG.
