Reserves win and the Lost Cause lose tonight, that wraps up the Battle for the Basement with two games remaining.

Now I just need a little lottery luck, not that 2nd overall won’t yield a great prospect as well. Sure would be nice to add Lafreniere after this lost season though, won’t lie.

I was sweating the final game of the night and man, Cale Makar is a treat to watch playing this game. He’s so damn good. He deserves that Calder Trophy but I sure wish Olofsson had stayed healthy as I think he had a real chance at it.
