I mean this without any sort of sarcasm or judgment or anything, but like... what's going on Duane? This is like the third or fourth time this season that you've messed up your lineup in Yahoo... either 7F or 5D... we've had the same system for a decade now, so what has changed?
(Actually, Duane can remove one of his D if he wants and replace with a 6th forward from the later games to make his lineup technically legal still... though I imagine Marcus Pettersson wasn't the desired OT player.)

He uses the autoset feature for the whole week, and then tinkers on game day, but if there are afternoon games or he just doesn’t get to it, the lineups have extra players or defensemen as OT.
I think this is preferable to him completely missing lineups though, no? I personally don't think that it is that hard to grab your phone for 30 seconds and set a lineup daily, but I understand people get busy and may forget.
Not defending anything, just saying I think multiple illegal lineups are better than multiple missed lineups, though neither are desirable.

I thought I had set Petterson the forward at my OT player, not Petterson the D.
As you can see I have a F slot open -- ie I set the ****ing thing and didn't rely on the "set the lineup for the week"
The big difference this year is that I have been using the app a lot more than the website to set lineups.

That’s cool I never said you were using the start active players option. Someone else suggested it as a possibility for why you have had issues with illegal lineups and I simply said it was preferable to missed lineups.
